● PREMIUM BRONZE bronze bonded stones with diamond or CBN powder.
Stones that can be used for all types of steels: both stainless steels and high carbon steels. They work perfectly when changing the angle of sharpening. The stone surface is particularly resistant to wear. They are produced in a range from 60 GRIT to 15000 GRIT.
● PREMIUM SILVER Metal-vitrified stones with CBN superabrasive are a combination of the strength of metal stones and the precision of vitrified stones. This is a new generation of stones that the world has never seen before.
They do not change their geometry even after prolonged use, as metal-based stones do, but at the same time they have extremely high performance and are constantly aggressive in their work, like vitrified-based stones. PDTOOLS has succeeded in combining these two properties so that sharpeners all over the world can appreciate them.
This line of stones is ideal for processing all hard steels with a hardness of up to 70HRC. They are ideal for both rapid cutting edge formation and full cycle sharpening. They are available in the range from 160 GRIT to 3 000 GRIT.
● PREMIUM VITRIFIED vitrified bonded stones with diamond or CBN powder.
The combination of vitrified base and superabrasive gives these stones extraordinary speed. It is worth noting that the uniformity of the surface after using these stones will really surprise you.
Suitable for various types of steel: They work well on high-alloy and powdered steels and are ideal for the medium sharpening range.
Available with 225 GRIT, 285 GRIT, and 550 GRIT, 650 GRIT.
● PREMIUM NICKEL CBN electroplated base combined with nickel. Evenly placed on the surface of the stone, which ensures the most aggressive work.
Highest sharpening speed – ideal for reshaping the edge of severely broken or damaged blades.
Does not require lapping – always works stably without the need for reshaping.
Suitable for all types of steels, including hard steels. Ideal for quick changes to the cutting edge angle or when a knife blade is severely damaged.
Produced from 160 GRIT to 550 GRIT.
● EXPERT PRO polymer (metal-resin) bonded stones with diamond or CBN powder.
Stones for hard steels that produce a perfect cutting edge finish. They can also be used in combination with other ranges to produce a mirror-like cutting edge surface
Produced from 60 GRIT to 15000 GRIT.
PREMIUM LAPPING is a cast iron lapper with an abrasive-free plate on an aluminum blank.
Used for finishing polishing the edge and aggressiveness of the knife cut.
Works great when paired with PDTools Superabrasives diamond and CBN pastes.

CBN or Diamond?
Both types of stones will make your blade razor-sharp, but CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) stones work faster than diamond ones. At the same grit size, CBN abrasives leave a smoother scratch pattern than diamonds. This is due to the unique structure of the CBN grains.
